Teaching balanced nutrition is made easy with this package, which features 24 models illustrating three balanced meals and a snack. Breakfast foods include a slice of white toast, oatmeal, fat-free milk, apple juice, scrambled eggs, and a slice of bacon. Lunch foods include a lean hamburger patty, a hamburger bun, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, mayonnaise, a slice of American cheese, pretzel sticks, and an apple. Dinner foods include a grilled chicken breast, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, tossed salad, French dressing, a roll, pineapple rings, and a cup of gelatin. Snack foods include animal crackers and plain yogurt. Food cards with nutritional information are included for each food.
